You want this 🔥 in your life!
In the "Every home needs an apothecary", I shared a few key benefits of this spicy healer but I wanted to talk a little bit more about it.
Why? Because it's AMAZING!
Cayenne pepper is more than that red stuff you have tucked away in your cabinet. So much more. Barely getting any action and just sitting there watching you choose everything else.
Not really knowing it's potential.
Let's talk about it!

Cayenne contains a compound called capsaicin that is considered a strong stimulant of the circulatory and digestive system and it helps to modulate between hot and cold conditions.
👇🏾Read more in-depth details below👇🏾
1. Research shares that capsaicin increases thermogenesis (heat production in the body). This process helps burn more calories and fat, making it beneficial for weight management. Some studies also suggest it may also reduce appetite, leading to lower calorie intake.
2. Capsaicin helps relax blood vessels, improving circulation and reducing blood pressure. It may also lower LDL ("bad" cholesterol that's really not bad) levels and prevent plaque buildup in arteries, reducing the risk of heart disease.
3. Cayenne pepper stimulates the production of digestive enzymes and stomach acid, which are essential for breaking down food and absorbing nutrients. It can also help relieve bloating, indigestion, and gas by promoting healthy gut function. Its even been known to help sooth ulcerations in the stomach.
4. When applied topically, capsaicin blocks pain signals by depleting a neurotransmitter called Substance P, which is responsible for sending pain signals to the brain. This makes it useful for conditions like arthritis, neuropathy, and muscle soreness. I'm including an herbal remedy for that below😉
5. Cayenne pepper is rich in antioxidants, including vitamin C, beta-carotene, and flavonoids, which help fight free radicals and support immune function. It also has antimicrobial properties that may help prevent infections.
6. The heat from cayenne pepper helps loosen mucus and clear nasal passages. It acts as a natural decongestant, making it beneficial for colds, sinus infections, and allergies by promoting sinus drainage and reducing inflammation. One of the reasons why it's in our Fire Cider!
7. Cayenne pepper has natural hemostatic (blood-clotting) properties, making it an effective remedy for stopping minor bleeding. It
activates coagulation factors, which are essential for stopping bleeding. It also works by regulating blood pressure and directing blood flow evenly, which helps prevent excessive bleeding from a wound.
Lastly, if you experience cold feet try sprinkling a little into your socks. The heat helps to draw blood flow down to the area thus generating a warming sensation and giving you a little comfort from the chill.
