Experiencing snow-dom?

🤷🏾‍♀️Don't know if it's a word but are you sitting in the living room watching the snow fall again, feeling bored. What a great time to shift the energy towards healing🥰

I want to share a few ways to connect with some herbal friends hanging out in your apothecary to help facilitate your healing experience. These are just a few self-care rituals along with their health benefits:

🌿 1. Herbal Tea Infusions

- How to Use: Brew teas with herbs like chamomile, peppermint, or lavender. Drink them in the morning to energize, throughout the day just because or at night to unwind.

Benefits:

- Chamomile: Promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and improves sleep.

- Peppermint: Aids digestion, relieves headaches, and boosts focus.

- Lavender: Reduces anxiety and promotes a sense of calm.

🌿 2. Herbal Baths

How to Use: Add dried herbs (e.g., rosemary, calendula, or eucalyptus) to an organic tea bag and steep in warm bathwater. Enhance with essential oils if desired. You can also make a strong infusion of these herbs and simply add to your bath water.

Benefits:

- Rosemary: Improves circulation and reduces muscle tension.

- Calendula: Soothes irritated skin and supports healing.

- Eucalyptus: Clears sinuses and invigorates the senses.

🌿 3. Herbal Face Masks

How to Use: Mix powdered herbs like turmeric or green tea with aloe vera or bentonite clay to create a face mask. Apply to the skin and leave on for 10–15 minutes.

Benefits:

- Turmeric: Anti-inflammatory and brightens the skin.

- Green Tea: Packed with antioxidants that protect against aging and reduce redness.

-Aloe Vera: Helps to tighten pores and reduce inflammation.

🌿 4. Herbal Aromatherapy

How to Use: Use a diffuser with essential oils derived from herbs like sage, or lemongrass. You can also burn dried herbs as incense.

Benefits:

- Sage: Cleansing and purifying for the mind and space.

- Lemongrass: Elevates mood and promotes relaxation.

🌿 5. Herbal Hair Rinses

How to Use: Steep herbs like nettle, chamomile, or rosemary in hot water. Let cool and use as a final rinse after washing your hair.

Benefits:

- Nettle: Strengthens hair and reduces hair loss.

- Chamomile: Adds shine and soothes the scalp.

- Rosemary: Stimulates hair growth by encouraging circulation.

🌿 6. Herbal Body Oils or Massage Oils

How to Use: Infuse carrier oils (like almond, coconut, or jojoba) with herbs such as calendula, lavender, or arnica. Use for self-massage or as a moisturizer. You can YOUTUBE double-broiler method or COMMENT below and I'll share how I do it.

Benefits:

- Calendula: Heals and hydrates dry or irritated skin.

- Lavender: Relieves tension and soothes sore muscles.

- Arnica: Reduces inflammation and alleviates joint or muscle pain.

🌿 7. Herbal Steam Inhalation

Add herbs like thyme, chamomile, or mint to a bowl of steaming water. Place a towel over your head, lean over the bowl, and inhale deeply for 5–10 minutes.

Benefits:

- Thyme: Clears respiratory passages and has antimicrobial properties.

- Chamomile: Soothes irritated sinuses and calms the mind.

- Mint: Refreshes, relieves congestion, and enhances mental clarity.
