😵‍💫Day After Herbs

Welcome to the day after. Have you had some lemon water yet? At least 16 oz to love on your body a little bit. It's a great liver tonic‼️

Well, I'm gonna share 5 herbs that may help alleviate hangover symptoms and help to level up your body's own detoxification process. Choose one or create your own herbal blend but let them help you get to the finish line. (Here's one reason why I've been encouraging you to build a home apothecary.😉)

MILK THISTLE::

Contains Silymarin, which supports liver detoxification and may help the body process alcohol more efficiently.

GINGER::

Known for its anti-nausea properties, Ginger can soothe the stomach, reduce headaches, and feelings of dizziness or nausea.

PEPPERMINT::

Helps ease headaches, nausea, and digestive discomfort, common symptoms of a hangover.

TURMERIC::

Rich in curcumin, turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can support liver health and reduce inflammation caused by alcohol consumption.

DANDELION ROOT::

Acts as a natural detoxifier and diuretic, supporting liver function and helping to flush toxins from the body.

For best results, these herbs can be taken as a tea drinking at least 3 cups throughout the day. At least 1 tsp to 8oz of freshly boiled water steeping for at least 15 mins. will work. Exception: The Milk Thistle and Ginger may require a longer steep time or add to water FIRST and allow to come to a gentle, low boil then remove from heat and allow to steep up to 10 mins.

Last piece of info.

Your body needs HYDRATION, yes, plenty of water or coconut water to help move these toxins out of the system...along with rest. It's called IN•TOXIC•ated for a reason.

Now, go heal like you mean it. Happy Sippin'
